If you can say someone was "born into
the business" that would be me.
My grandfather, Kirk Herrington, started the business
in 1959 and my father ran if after 1993.
I grew up playing in the salvage yard and working
for my grandfather from the age of 12, during summers
off from school, to pay for things I wanted.
I began dismanteling cars full- time
after graduation & have worked my way up to
salesman, manager and now owner of the business.
I have been married for 15 years this year
& have one daughter. Any guesses as to
what she does during her summers off from
school? You named it, she helps with
the business.
