If you can say someone was "born into the business"  that would be  me.  My grandfather, Kirk Herrington, started the business in 1959 and  my father ran if after 1993.  I grew up playing in the salvage yard and  working for my grandfather from the age of 12, during summers off  from school, to pay for things I wanted.  I began dismanteling cars  full- time after graduation & have worked my way up to salesman,  manager and now owner of the business.  I have been married for 15  years this year & have one daughter.  Any guesses as to what she  does during her summers off from school?  You named it, she helps  with the business.

 

I am married with 6 children and live in North Platte Nebraska about 45 minutes from the business. I have been in the used parts business for 14 years now, starting out in dismanteling and moving up to salesman. I got started in the business because a friend of mine suggested it to me and I'm still going strong. I enjoy fishing with the kids on my days off from work.

 I have been with the company since 1995. I am married with 2 boys  and also help raise my 2 nieces full-time. I volunteer as a local  EMT/firefighter. My wife, Candi, is a sister to Zane the owner of the  company.
