The
business was started in 1959 by Kirk and Carolyn Herrington.
It initially began as a body shop but Kirk soon discovered
the cars he was collecting to complete his work were a valuable
commodity and the body shop evolved into a salvage yard
as well. The full time salvage business was started
in 1971. Don and Gayla Malcom, 2nd generation owners,
began running the business in 1993. In 1999 the business
began selling aftermarket and OEM parts. The business
continued to evolve and in 2004 the addition of rebuilt
parts made inventory availability even more complete.
Zane and Joscelyn Malcom are 3rd generation owners as of
2010.
